FAQ : Internal Mentors

Do host organizations have to appoint an internal mentor?

Yes. Every intern must have an internal employee (a full-time, senior appointment) designated as mentor or guide for the duration of the Programme. This person will be responsible for overall management of the intern and act also as liaison between the programme management and the host organisation.

Does the mentor have to also complete a business plan or case report, separately?

No. The mentor is expected to materially assist and guide the intern in the development and timely submission of the case report or business plan.

What is the time commitment of a mentor or employee?

This depends upon the extent of their participation; however it cannot exceed the total time commitment of the intern.
